Granny's heart and Daddy's girl - My nephew and niece.
Still to be re-worked but these two drawings are going to be a New Year and birthday gift to the Gran. The second drawing is bound to be called That child.

Hi Helen! I really like the Green eyed two faced picture! You are talented! However I see three faces therein. ;) My house mate Hariolf studies digital media, this semester he has courses on abstract arts, influented by him, I'm starting to appreciate this very interesting world too. :) Looking forward to your new works. :)

Thanks Ellen. People say they like/prefer the colour palette I use. But those aren't my drawings except for the children. See the Watercolour Calendar post earlier on.
I'm learning to draw all over again. Yesterday I bought a David Shepherd's book on Oil Colour painting techniques. It has a section on sketching. I like the fact he hasn't conformed to traditional methods and just discovered what worked for him. Fortunately I seem to have most of the materials to hand already so this is something I've been building up to for a while.
Had to discard the plan to give the drawings as a gift as general consensus was they didn't look sufficiently like the children. The keyword is sufficiently. The drawings could pass for other children. So it's back to the drawing board.
